Ned Vizzini was an American writer born April 4th, 1981 in New York City, New York, USA. He attended Stuyvesant High School from 1995-1999. It is believed most of Vizzini's characters and stories were based from his time spent in high school. Vizzini's career began with an appearance of an essay submitted to New York Press and winning an honorable  mention of the Scholastic  Art and Writing Awards in 1996. Vizzini wrote 6 novels, such as Teen Angst? Naaah... , Be More Chill and It's Kind of a Funny Story. December 19th 2013, at the age of 32 Vizzini committed suicide. Vizzini had a wife, Sabra and a son, Felix.
